We were honored and privileged to crown our VERY FIRST recipient of the “Travis Quinn Young Musicians Foundation Award” in Joshua Shipp on May 16th 2021. It was fitting to hold this event on “ Youth Sunday” at Christian Community Church of God. We had a spectacular time with the brass band and dancers on this historic evening. Special thanks goes to Bishop Christoper Lewis, Christian Reátegui, Sammantha Shaw, Foundation Members, MIA brass collective, and everyone who has made donations to our mission! It’s purely a labor of love and we look forward to continuing this legacy in our community!

Thanks to David Burgos. For getting us a great deal on this Yamaha Stage Custom which was given to Josh by the foundation.

Adriana "Ash" Tembras Cordero

A HUGE thank you to Mr. Dion Tucker for providing the Foundation with a brand new "Weril" beginner level trombone. Also, much appreciation to Charlie Gerundo who met with Dion in New York to make the transaction happen to pick up this trombone!

Adriana Cordero is our 2nd recipient of the Travis Quinn Young Musicians Foundation Award in December of 2021. Adriana  (at the time she is awarded) attends Sunrise Middle School in Broward County, Florida. Adriana is apart of the beginning concert band under the direction of Christopher Atkins. Adriana came highly recommended through Chris because of Adriana's rate of progression so early in her playing! Adriana has only been playing for 3-4 months at this point and shows amazing dedication and promise in her musical journey so far. The foundation is honored and privileged to award Adriana Cordero and our 2nd recipient of the Travis Quinn Young Musicians Foundation Award.
